ADVERTISING POLICY
FOR WHOLESALERS AND DISTRIBUTORS OF LUCENT GLOBE’S
PRODUCTS
1 Introduction
1.1 Lucent Globe Pty Ltd ACN 665 917 368 (Lucent Globe) welcomes advertising in relation to products sold by it to wholesalers and distributors (Products), in
accordance with the Wholesale & Distributor trading terms made available on its
website: here (Trading Terms).
1.2 This policy governs the use of Lucent Globe’s intellectual property, including its copyright, trademarks, brand names and product names (collectively, the Brand Assets) by authorised wholesalers and distributors of the Products.
1.3 This policy forms part of the licence of Brand Assets granted to you under clause 8 (Intellectual Property) of the Trading Terms (Brand Licence) and your
compliance with this policy is a condition of that Brand Licence.
2 Summary
The purpose of this policy is:
(a) to provide you with clear guidance on Lucent Globe’s requirements
regarding advertising practices when advertising in relation to the Products
and the acceptable use of the Brand Assets;
(b) protect Lucent Globe’s valuable intellectual property rights in its Brand
Assets;
(c) maintain Lucent Globe’s brand integrity and consistency; and
(d) ensure all advertising of the Products comply with applicable Australian
laws and regulations.
3.1 Paid Digital Advertising Restrictions
As part of its brand protection strategy, Lucent Globe restricts the use of its
Brand Assets in certain paid digital advertising contexts. To preserve the Brand
Licence, you must adhere to the following requirements:
(a) Search Engine Advertising
You must not:
(i) bid on or use the Brand Assets as keywords in search engine
advertising platforms (including, but not limited to, Google Ads); and
(ii) include the Brand Assets in ad titles, descriptions, display URLs, or
landing page URLs within those search engine advertising platforms.
(b) Social Media Advertising
You must not:
(i) use the Brand Assets as targeting keywords in paid social media
advertising (including, but not limited to, Meta, Instagram, Facebook,
TikTok, LinkedIn, X or Snapchat); and
(ii) include the Brand Assets in the ad copy, headlines, or call-to-action
buttons of paid social media advertisements.
3.2 Permitted Advertising Activities
Notwithstanding, the following advertising activities remain available to you:
(a) Generic Advertising
You may:
(i) advertise the Products using generic industry terms that do not
include reference to the Brand Assets (i.e., eco-friendly detergent);
and
(ii) use general category or descriptive terms that accurately describe the
Products.
(b) Owned Channels
You may:
(i) feature the Products and Brand Assets on your own digital platforms
(i.e., websites, apps, email databases etc);
(ii) include the Products in your own catalogues, brochures and point-of-
sale materials; and
(iii) advertise the Products to your existing customer database.
(c) Organic Content
You may create and share organic (non-paid) content featuring the
Products on social media and other platforms, provided that such content
complies with this policy and the Trading Terms.
4 Brand Standards and Quality Requirements
4.1 All use of the Brand Assets must:
(a) maintain the high standard and reputation associated with Lucent Globe and its Brand Assets;
(b) comply with any brand guidelines provided by Lucent Globe from time to time, including this policy and the Trading Terms;
(c) accurately represent the Products, their features and benefits;
(d) not contain any false, misleading or deceptive claims about the Products; and
(e) not modify, alter or distort the Brand Assets.
4.2 For the purpose of paragraph 4.1:
(a) all advertising of the Products must not contain any offensive, explicit or inappropriate material, including violence, nudity or foul language; and
(b) whilst comparative advertising is permitted, you must not make false or
misleading claims about products which compete with the Products.
5 Legal Compliance
All advertising of the Products must comply with all applicable laws and
regulations, including the Australian Consumer Law, the Competition and
Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and any relevant advertising codes issued by the
Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA).
6 Monitoring
Lucent Globe regularly monitors the marketplace to ensure compliance with this
policy. In the event of non-compliance Lucent Globe will notify you in writing and
you will be provided with an opportunity to remedy the contravention.
If the non-compliance continues, is repeated or is persistent, then Lucent Globe
may elect to terminate the Brand Licence and otherwise cease supplying
Products to you in accordance with the Trading Terms.
7 Policy Updates
Lucent Globe may update this policy from time to time. The current version of
this policy will always be available to you upon request and you will be notified in
advance of any significant changes.

By ordering or continuing to order Products from Lucent Globe, you acknowledge
that you have read, understood and agree to comply with this policy and the
Trading Terms.
